Dit bedrijf werd ons door een hond in de schoot geworpen.
De KONG Classic werd voor het eerst verkocht in 1976. Maar in feite werd het ontdekt door de Duitse herdershond Fritz (dat klopt, de inspiratie voor het materiaal en de vorm werd van een oude auto gerukt en letterlijk in de schoot van onze oprichter geworpen).
Sindsdien hebben we altijd KONGs gemaakt van ons eigen, huisdiervriendelijke en kauwbare rubber. Honden houden van KONG. Een stuiterende KONG houdt ze bezig en klaar om te spelen. Bovendien voelt het zacht aan in de bek zodat het heerlijk is om op te kauwen en het is ook nog eens uitermate duurzaam. Baasjes houden ook van KONG — ze kunnen ze opvullen, gooien en achterlaten in de tuin—KONG wordt steeds weer teruggebracht voor meer.
